Lev Hashem's Ministries

If a Synagogue were a body, it would have body parts.  The parts of that body are different in function and purpose but all connected to serve the body and the will of the Master (G-d).  Here you will see some of those vital entities which make up the Kesharim/Ministries of Lev HaShem.

Praise Team

We are blessed to use a combination of live praise and worship, as well as, CD accompaniment. If you are gifted as a singer and/or musician, Praise Team is looking for you! Membership is required and auditions are held quarterly. If you feel lead to be a part of our team, please see Karen Gloyd for an information packet.

Israeli/Davidic Dance

“Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed

instruments and organs.”Tehilim (Psalm) 150:4
Davidic dance is a regular part of our praise and worship. If you would like to learn the dances we do congregationally, we have Beginners Dance on the last Shabbat of the month in the afternoon, following our services and Oneg. All are welcome!

If you would like to learn more advanced dances and be a part of our Dance Ministry Team and participate in special Holiday and Outreach opportunities, Intermediate and Advanced Dance meets on Wednesday evenings @ 6:30 pm at the synagogue.

Oneg/Holiday Team

Help celebrate the Shabbat and Holidays by being part of our team that sets up the Oneg (light refreshments) and Holiday celebration meals, decorating, etc. We have a weekly Oneg and Holidays are seasonal.

Sound/Projection Team

We need team members that can help with running the sound and

projection (including PowerPoint) during our services. If you have the

desire to serve in this area, please contact Michael Epstein at the

synagogue. We are willing to train!
