Why Worship on Saturdays?
Scripture defines the Shabbat (Sabbath) as the seventh day beginning Erev Shabbat (Friday) at sundown through Saturday just after sundown. We believe that the Shabbat is as relevant today as it was when HaShem H-mself observed the Shabbat after H-s work of creation. In Mattityahu (Matthew) 12:8 Yeshua said, "For the Son of Man is L-rd of Shabbat!" We consider the Shabbat not only to be a day of rest and observance, but also a day when the community worships together. In both Covenants of Scripture, the Shabbat is blessed and sanctified indicating that G-d never changes, nor does His Word. Baruch HaShem! Therefore, along with our Jewish people, and in keeping the Fourth Commandment, we worship on the Shabbat.
