Lev HaShem Messianic Jewish Synagogue

Statement of Vision

My my, how much you can learn about us from a website.  What occupies our minds most of the time?  And as you know what occupies your mind tends to be turned into action.  Read on, reader.

The vision of Lev HaShem is to be a Messianic Jewish Synagogue that worships the G-d of Avraham, the G-d of Yitzchak, the G-d of Ya’acov, and our Messiah Yeshua. “I glorified you on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” (Yochanan 17:1-4).

Our vision is to reach out to our Jewish people first with the truth of who Yeshua is as Yisrael’s Mashiach, and to proclaim Him to everyone else as the Savior of the world.

Our vision is to worship and to live as a mishpochah (community) made up of Jew and Gentile that observe the Holy Scriptures within the context of Jewish life, culture, and terminology. The motivation being G-d’s grace, faith, and love. “What good is it my brothers, if someone claims to have faith but has no actions (works) to prove it.” (Ya’acov 2:14-18). Therefore, it’s not that we have to, but that we are free to observe Torah.

Our vision is to be uniquely Jewish in lifestyle, and to be a blessing to the larger Body of Believers.

We are to be connected to Eretz Yisrael (land of Israel) and to be supportive in good times and in bad times, being in constant prayer for the land and the people. “Pray for the shalom in Yerushalayim; may those who love you prosper.” May shalom be within your gates, and properity in your palaces. (Psalm 122:6, 7)
