Lev HaShem Kids


Love is not only a theme of discussion but an everyday practice at Lev HaShem.  Our children receive love and attention as we labor to support families in their upbringing.  Together we strive to train up children in the ways of Adonai.  Our hope for them, as for ourselves, is to be conformed to the likeness of Yeshua.  Foundations of faith are laid as teachers recount the lives of the biblical patriarchs and matriarchs.   Yeshua is revealed in the Feasts of the L-rd.   The value of scriptural Jewish traditions and a grasp of biblical and modern Hebrew are imparted.  All is done in a child friendly way that gives them the opportunity to develop strong friendships with their synagogue peers.  Fun is fundamental in their learning and growing.

The children's ministry includes:

"        A nursery for pre-school aged children to play.  A place for mothers with infants who need to tend to their babies during the service.

"        An Erev Shabbat children's class for school aged children from 1st through 8th grades.  These students are encouraged and rewarded for memorizing scripture verses.


Our goals are to develop a deeper understanding of the meaning and application of scripture.  In this way we prepare the next generation to share the B'surah (Good News) of Yeshua.  They learn to read and write biblical Hebrew text and speak in modern Hebrew phrases.

"        Shaharit Shabbat class includes crafts and games to reinforce central concepts.  Lessons are taught around the Messianic Jewish weekly Parasha.  We delve into appointed feasts and festivals that are kept throughout the calendar year.    


Our team of teachers and spiritual leaders pursue new experiences for our kids.  We thus uphold parents in transmitting the truth about who Yeshua is to their young ones. We hope to develop their children's gifts and talents to serve in the future within their families, Messianic Jewish communities, and the larger body of believers.
